The anti-FLAG tag antibody is directed against the sequence DYKDDDDK. The anti-FLAG antibody can be used to detect total receptors in Western blots independent of phosphorylation. The anti-FLAG tag antibody can also be used to isolate and enrich receptors from cell and tissue lysates. It also detects FLAG-tagged receptors in cultured cells by immunohistochemistry.

Native HEK293 cells (MOCK) or HEK293 cells stably expressing the FLAG-tagged µ-Opioid Receptor (FLAG-MOP) were lysed and immunoblotted with the phosphorylation-independent anti-FLAG antibody (7TM00FLAG) at a dilution of 1:1000.
