5-HT Receptor Antibodies

5-Hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) receptors are, with the exception of the ionotropic 5-HT3 class, GPCRs where the endogenous agonist is 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin). 5-HT receptors are distributed amongst seven distinct families, with some families containing multiple receptors, classified primarily on their similar amino acid sequences and structural properties. Further 5-HT receptor heterogeneity is generated through alternative splicing (5-HT3, 5-HT4 and 5-HT7 receptors), RNA editing (5-HT2C receptors) and the putative formation of heterodimers.

Agonist-induced Serine354/Threonine355 phosphorylation of the 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 4
pS354/pT355-5-HT4 (phospho-5-HT Receptor 4...
Serine354/Threonine355 is a major phosphorylation site of the 5-HT4 receptor. The pS354/pT355-5-HT4 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high-efficacy agonists but not after PKC activation. S354/T355 phosphorylation is a key...
