Serine417/Serine419 (S417/S419) is a major phosphorylation site of the CCK1 receptor. The pS417/pS419-CCK1 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high-efficacy agonists. S417/S419 phosphorylation is a key regulator of CCK1 desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine417/Serine419 phosphorylation of CCK1 Receptor. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the CCK1-Receptor (CCK1) were either not exposed or exposed to 1 µM of specific CCK-Receptor agonist CCK-8 for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS417/pS419-CCK1 antibody (7TM0076C) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with the phosphorylation-independent anti-CCK1 antibody (7TM0076N) at a dilution of 1:1000 to confirm equal loading of the gel.
