Epitope-Tag Antibodies

For many GPCRs specific antibodies do not exist. For these receptors epitope-tag antibodies are versatile tools to detect total receptor protein in Western blots independent of phosphorylation. Epitope-tag antibodies can also be used to isolate and enrich receptors from cell and tissue lysates. Epitope-tag antibodies can also be used to localize tagged receptors in cultured cells and tissue sections by immunohistochemistry. These antibodies can also be used for surface labeling of N-terminally tagged receptors to quantify receptor trafficking using ELISA or flow cytometry.
