Neuropeptide FF Receptor 1 Antibodies

NPFF1 is expressed in various brain regions including the limbic system of telencephalon, diencephalon, mesencephalon and pituitary where NPFF1 could participate in neuroendocrine functions. NPFF1 couples with Gαi to inhibit adenylyl cyclase. NPFF1 receptor desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization are regulated by phosphorylation of carboxyl-terminal serine361 (pS361-NPFF1) and serine385/serine387 (pS385/pS387-NPFF1). This nomenclature refers to the human NPFF1 receptor. This phosphorylation motif is conserved across species and corresponds to pS363-NPFF1 and pS387/pS389-NPFF1 in rats.
