Agonist-induced Serine361 phosphorylation of the Neuropeptide FF Receptor 1
pS361-NPFF1 (phospho-Neuropeptide FF Receptor 1...
Serine361 (S361) is major phosphorylation site of the Neuropeptide FF Receptor 1 (NPFF1). The pS361-NPFF1 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S361 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand...

NPFF1

NPFF1 is expressed in various brain regions including the limbic system of telencephalon, diencephalon, mesencephalon and pituitary where NPFF1 could participate in neuroendocrine functions. NPFF1 couples with Gαi to inhibit adenylyl cyclase. NPFF1 receptor desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization are regulated by phosphorylation of carboxyl-terminal serine361 (pS361-NPFF1) and serine385/serine387 (pS385/pS387-NPFF1). This nomenclature refers to the human NPFF1 receptor. This phosphorylation motif is conserved across species and corresponds to pS363-NPFF1 and pS387/pS389-NPFF1 in rats. For more information on NPFF1 pharmacology please refer to the IUPHAR database. For further reading refer to:
