Serine313 (S313) is a major phosphorylation site of the MRGPRX2 Mas-related receptor. The pS313-MRGPRX2 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high- and low-efficacy agonists and after PKC activation. S313 phosphorylation is a key regulator of MRGPRX2 desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine313 phosphorylation of the MRGPRX2 Mas-related Receptor. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the MRGPRX2 Receptor (MRGPRX2) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM specific agonist ZINC-3573 for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS313-MRGPRX2 antibody (7TM0157A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-MRGPRX2 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
