GPR97 (also known as ADGRG3) is a member of the adhesion GPCR family, characterized by a long extracellular domain involved in cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions. While its endogenous ligand remains unclear, GPR97 has been implicated in immune regulation and vascular biology. GPR97 is predominantly expressed in immune cells, including neutrophils, B cells, and dendritic cells, as well as in endothelial cells and some lymphoid tissues. Its expression pattern suggests a role in immune cell activation, inflammatory signaling, and vascular function. GPR97 is being explored as a potential pharmacological target, particularly in immune-related diseases and inflammatory conditions.
