Serine377 (S377) is a major phosphorylation site of the QRFP receptor. The pS377-QRFPR antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high-efficacy agonists. S377 phosphorylation is a key regulator of QRFPR desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine377 phosphorylation of QRFP Receptor. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the QRFP-Receptor (QRFPR) were either not exposed or exposed to 1 µM of specific QRFP-Receptor agonist QRFP26 for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS377-QRFPR antibody (7TM0333B) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-QRFPR antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
