Serine358/Serine360 (S358/S360) is major phosphorylation site of the GPR52 Receptor (GPR52). The pS358/pS360-GPR52 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S358/S360 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine358/Serine360 phosphorylation of the GPR52 Receptor. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the GPR52 Receptor (GPR52) and transiently GRK2 (Ratio GPR52 receptor:GRK2 = 10:1) were preincubated with serum-free media. After 2 hours cells were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM FTBMT for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS358/pS360-GPR52 antibody (7TM0108A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with the phosphorylation-independent anti-GPR52 (7TM0108N) antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
