Serine345/Serine346 (S345/S346) is a major phosphorylation site of the Chemerin receptor 1 (CMKLR1). The pS345/pS346-CMKLR1 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high-efficacy agonists. S345/S346 phosphorylation is a key regulator of CMKLR1 desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine345/Serine346 phosphorylation of Chemerin Receptor 1. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Chemerin Receptor 1 (CMKLR1) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM of Chemerin for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS345/pS346-CMKLR1 antibody (7TM0079A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-CMKLR1 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
