Serine357/Serine358 (S357/S358) is a major phosphorylation site of the Chemerin receptor 1 (CMKLR1). The pS357/pS358-CMKLR1 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high-efficacy agonists. S357/S358 phosphorylation is a key regulator of CMKLR1 desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine357/Serine358 phosphorylation of Chemerin Receptor 1. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Chemerin Receptor (CMKLR1) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM Chemerin for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS357/pS358-CMKLR1 antibody (7TM0079C) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-CMKLR1 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
