Serine326/Threonine327 (S326/T327) is major phosphorylation site of the Complement Peptide Receptor 2 (C5a2). The pS326/pT327-C5a2 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S326/S327 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by C5a2.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine326/Threonine327 phosphorylation of the Complement C5a Receptor 2. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Complement C5a Receptor 2 (C5a2) were either not exposed or exposed to 1 µM specific Complement C5a Receptor agonist CO28 or 100 nM C5a or 100 nM des-Arg C5a for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS326/pT327-C5a1 antibody (7TM0033A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with the phosphorylation-independent anti-C5a2 antibody (7TM0033N) at a dilution of 1:1000 to confirm equal loading of the gel.
