Serine409/Serine410 (S409/S410) is major phosphorylation site of the Neurotensin Receptor 1 (NTS1). The pS409/pS410-NTS1 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S409/S410 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by NTS1.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine409/Serine410 phosphorylation of the Neurotensin Receptor 1. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Neurotensin receptor 1 (NTS1) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM Neurotensin for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS409/pS410-NTS1 antibody (7TM0309C) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with the phosphorylation-independent anti-NTS1 antibody (7TM0309N) to confirm equal loading of the gel.
