Serine351/Threonine356 (S351/T356) is a major phosphorylation site of the human GPR17 receptor. The pS351/pT356-GPR17 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high-efficacy agonists. S351/T356 phosphorylation is a key regulator of human GPR17 desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine351/Threonine356 phosphorylation of the G-protein coupled Receptor 17. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the G-protein coupled receptor 17 (GPR17) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM PSB-12150 for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS351/pT356-GPR17 antibody (7TM0088A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with the phosphorylation-independent anti-GPR17 antibody (7TM0088N) to confirm equal loading of the gel.
