Serine383/Serine384 (S383/S384) is major phosphorylation site of the Proteinase-Activated Receptor 2 (PAR2). The pS383/pS384-PAR2 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S383/S384 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by PAR2.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine383/Serine384 phosphorylation of the Proteinase-Activated Receptor 2. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Proteinase-activated receptor 2 (PAR2) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM AC264613 for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS383/pS384-PAR2 antibody (7TM0348B) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-PAR2 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
