Threonine363/Threonine360 (T363/T364) is major phosphorylation site of the Bombesin Receptor 3 (BB3). The pT363/pT364-BB3 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. T363/T364 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by BB3.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Threonine363/Threonine364 phosphorylation of the Bombesin Receptor 3. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Bombesin receptor 3 (BB3) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM BB3 agonist BA1 for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pT363/pT364-BB3 antibody (7TM0040B) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-BB3 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
