Serine437/Threonine439 (S437/T439) is a major phosphorylation site of the CCK2 receptor. The pS437/pT439-CCK2 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to high-efficacy agonists. S437/T439 phosphorylation is a key regulator of CCK2 desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment and internalization.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine437/Threonine439 phosphorylation of CCK2 Receptor. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the CCK2-Receptor (CCK2) were either not exposed or exposed to 1 µM of specific CCK-Receptor agonist CCK-8 for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS437/pT439-CCK2 antibody (7TM0077C) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with the phosphorylation-independent anti-CCK2 antibody (7TM0077N) at a dilution of 1:1000 to confirm equal loading of the gel.
