Serine361 (S361) is major phosphorylation site of the Neuropeptide FF Receptor 1 (NPFF1). The pS361-NPFF1 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S361 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by NPFF1.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine361 phosphorylation of the Neuropeptide FF Receptor 1. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Neuropeptide FF receptor 1 (NPFF1) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM NPFF for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS361-NPFF1 antibody (7TM0300A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-NPFF1 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
