Serine373/Serine374 (S373/S374) is major phosphorylation site of the Vasopressin Receptor 1B (V1B). The pS373/pS374-V1B antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S373/S374 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by V1B.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine373/Serine374 phosphorylation of the Vasopressin Receptor 1B. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Vasopressin receptor 1B (V1B) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM vasopressin for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS373/pS374-V1B antibody (7TM0367A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-V1B antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
