Threonine328/Serine329 (T328/S329) is major phosphorylation site of the FFA Receptor 3 (FFA3). The pT328/pS329-FFA3 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. T328/S329 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by FFA3.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Threonine328/Serine329 phosphorylation of the FFA Receptor 3. Upper panel, Flp-In TREx 293 harbouring human FFA2-eYFP induced to express the receptor construct (+ dox) were treated with vehicle, 2mM propanoic acid (C3) or 5µM TUG-1907 for 5 min. Cells were lysed and receptor construct enriched with a GFP-trap, before immunoblotting with the anti-pT328/pS329-FFA3 antibody (7TM0227B) at a dilution of 1:500. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with a phosphorylation-independent anti-FFA3 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel. TUG-1097 is described in J. Med Chem 63(7):3577-3595
