Serine377/Serine378 (S377/S378) is major phosphorylation site of the Oxytocin Receptor (OT). The p3S77/pS378-OT antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S377/S378 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration.

Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Oxytocin receptor (OT) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM Vasopressin for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS377/pS378-OT antibody (7TM0369B) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-OT antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
