The non-phospho-V1A Receptor Antibody is directed against the distal end of the carboxyl-terminal tail of human V1A. It can be used to detect total V1A receptors in Western blots independent of phosphorylation. The non-phospho-V1A antibody can also be used to isolate and enrich V1A receptors from cell and tissue lysates. It also detects V1A in cultured cells and tissue sections by immunohistochemistry.

Figure 1. Immunohistochemical identification of Vasopressin Receptor 1A in pancreas. Sections were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid, and incubated with anti-V1A (Vasopressin Receptor 1A) antibody (7TM0366N-IC) at a dilution of 1:100. Sections were then sequentially treated with biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and avidin-biotin solution. Sections were then developed in 3,3-diaminobenzidine (DAB)-glucose oxidase and lightly counterstained with hematoxylin.
Figure 2. Validation of the Vasopressin Receptor 1A in transfected HEK293 cells. Native HEK293 cells (MOCK) or HEK293 cells stably expressing the vasopressin receptor 1A (V1A) were lysed and immunoblotted with the phosphorylation-independent anti-V1A antibody (7TM0366N-IC) at a dilution of 1:1000.
