Serine338/Serine339 (S338/S339) is major phosphorylation site of the DP2 Prostanoid Receptor (DP2). The pS338/pS339-DP2 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S338/S339 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by DP2.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine338/Serine339 phosphorylation of the Prostanoid Receptor 2. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Prostanoid receptor 2 (DP2) were either not exposed or exposed to 10 µM Treprostinil for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS338/pS339-DP2 antibody (7TM0339A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-DP2 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
