Threonine337/Serine340 (T337/S340) is major phosphorylation site of the TP Thromboxane Receptor (TP). The pT337/pS340-TP antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. T337/S340 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by TP.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Threonine337/Serine340 phosphorylation of the TP Thromboxane Receptor. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the TP Thromboxane receptor (TP) were either not exposed or exposed to 10 µM U46619for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pT337/pS340-TP antibody (7TM0346A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-TP antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
