Serine345 (S345) is major phosphorylation site of the Sphingosine 1-Phosphate Receptor 5 (S1P5). The pS345-S1P5 antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S345 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by S1P5.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine345 phosphorylation of the Sphingosine 1-Phosphate Receptor 5. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the S1P5-Receptor (S1P5) were either not exposed or exposed to 1 µM of S1P5-Receptor agonists S1P for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS345-S1P5 antibody (7TM00279A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-S1P5 antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
