Serine397/Threonine398 (S397/T398) is major phosphorylation site of the Vasopressin Receptor 1A (V1A). The pS397/pT398-V1A antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S397/T398 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by V1A.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine397/Threonine398 phosphorylation of the Vasopressin Receptor 1A. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Vasopressin receptor 1A (V1A) were either not exposed or exposed to 100 nM vasopressin for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS397/pT398-V1A antibody (7TM0366C) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-V1A antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
